IMPACTjax educates its members on legislative and public policy issues affecting the quality of life of young professionals. Special programs provide members access to public officials and a platform to voice their opinions. Issues that have been explored include public safety, workforce housing, and downtown development.

The IMPACTjax Ready to Run Series provides members who have political aspirations exclusive access to government officials who will provide insight to navigating the process of running for public office.

These programs are planned and implemented by the Government Affairs Committee which meets the fourth Monday of every month at 6pm at the Chamber of Commerce.
