Rhett moved to Jacksonville in June of 2008 when Hyatt Hotels Corporation transferred him here from their Albuquerque property. Rhett works with non-profits, corporations and governmental entities to bring their conventions, meetings & events to Jacksonville. He has the pleasure of promoting our wonderful city to travelers and convention attendees from all over the world.

Rhett received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business where he was a dual major in Marketing and International Business with a minor in Asian Studies. Before moving to Jacksonville, Rhett was active with Albuquerque Economic Development where he served as an Ambassador to drive membership in the organization. He is a long-time supporter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s annual MDA Lock-Up event and is a member of Meeting Professional International.

In his free time, Rhett enjoys cheering on the Suns & Jaguars, spending time with his two sons and enjoying all the great outdoor activities that North Florida has to offer.
