The Cultural Council advances the appreciation and expression of art and culture by increasing community awareness of cultural activities and issues; providing arts education programs to area students; and offering funding and technical assistance to cultural organizations and individual artists.

The Cultural Council serves as an umbrella organization helping to serve other arts organizations in Northeast Florida.
